There's No Place Like Home!

Dorothy's statement, "There is no place like home", in the Wizard of Oz movie seems true for me. My wife and I built the home shown above 27 years ago. And, just as Dorothy experienced a tornado in the movie, our home was severely damaged by an F4 tornado just two weeks before it was finished.


We were blessed to have a builder that stuck with us and after 6 months of clearing debris from the storm and re-building, we moved in.


Our home is situated on one of the farm properties belonging to my great grandparents and I spent many a day working on the farm as I was "growing up". Six generations of our family have been blessed to spend time here and there is no doubt that "there's no place like our home!"
