Ode to my wife

My wife and I have been married for over 56 years and our love for one another continues to grow.

God has blessed us with a marriage union that flourishes and I believe my wife deserves the credit for being the steady anchor holding us together through our life experiences.

My wife is my spiritual leader setting a clear example for living as we are called to live. She freely gives love to me and to all people who interact with her. She provides encouragement to me as I strive to progress along the journey of being who God created me to be.

She is forgiving for my many mistakes and overlooks my many faults.

Her smile, her laugh, the way she cuddles up, and the special hugs are always there.

The way she is with our children and grandchildren touches my heart.

Being married to an angel is a dream come true and a vision for eternity.
