"Never Up, Never In!"

Years ago, while playing golf and trying to sink a critical putt, one of my friends in our group stated, "Never Up, Never In."


His statement was to suggest I not leave the putt short of the hole as it would have no chance of going in. S


Seems like a simple statement but, it has significant meaning for golf and for life in general.


If there is a goal you want to achieve, go all out after it. Falling short is acceptable but, approaching it with less effort than required suggests attaining the goal is not as important as it should be.
