Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274), an Italian Dominican friar and priest developed a natural law theory and influenced ideas about human liberty and the moral limits of government authority during the medieval period.
Some refer to Carlo Acutis ((1991-2006) as "a Thomas Aquinas in Blue Jeans." Carlo is to be canonized on September 7 of this year and he, like the theologian Aquinas, possessed deep intellectual and spiritual insight, yet live a modern life, accessible to young people today.
I have been given the opportunity to write a review of "God's Influencer", a new book that includes the results of an interview on Carlo's life conducted with Carlo's parents, and am excited about learning more about this "Thomas Aquinas in Blue Jeans."
