FIRST THINGS FIRST - Connecting the game of football with spiritual development
According to Christian Scholar's Review:
"Athletes/fans often adopt a competitive mindset in which discipline, commitment, and training are central virtues. The Christian faith also involves those same virtues."
"Spiritual disciplines are repeated practices of the mind, body, and heart that rely on God the Father, cooperate with the Holy Spirit, and are directed by Christ. We can think of these intentional practices to develop our spirituality as 'soul-training.'
Christians have abundant opportunities to train their souls in and through sports".

Each week I will be providing a list of the Top 20 College Football teams by "Power Rating". I don't claim to be an "expert" on college football or on the "Power" of teams relative to other teams.
So, consider this section to be what it is, and that means it is one man's opinion.
To the Queen belongs the "Spoiled"
I was blessed with the opportunity of crowning Mary Louise as "Queen" at halftime of the Perry Maroon football cornation ceremony in 1967.
I was definitely spoiled with such a blessing!
